About Tyler

Hello! My name is Tyler, and I am an IT Professional with 6 years of work experience. I have a BS in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M University - Commerce, and am very passionate about my field.

I can assist you with all things related to systems administration, including:

- Powershell

- Perl

- Python 3

- Windows Server configuration

- Linux configuration (RHEL and Debian distributions)

- Microsoft Office

- Office 365 Administration

I have been tutoring friends and coworkers for a number of years, and want to give online tutoring a try. I am available after business hours (7AM-5PM CST) on weekdays, and any time on weekends.

I pride myself in my ability to make concepts relatable and easily understandable, coming up with unique ideas to help remember how everything works. I am a visual learner, so I try to make things as visual as possible for students.

I look forward to working with you, and helping you succeed!

Many peers/coworkers would ask for help with scripts/software, and I eventually transitioned to full-blown classes at my company to teach multiple people at the same time.

I like to ask students how they prefer to learn. If they are a visual learner, I like to provide many visual examples. If they prefer taking notes, I can provide many key points and concepts to take a plethora of notes on.

I tailor my tutoring according to the student's needs, so that they can understand content easier.
