About Don
Tutoring mathematics and computers provides a uniquely rewarding experience. I find immense satisfaction in demystifying complex concepts, whether it's the elegance of a mathematical proof or the intricate logic of a coding algorithm. Seeing that "aha!" moment when a student grasps a previously challenging idea is incredibly fulfilling. Furthermore, both subjects cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential tools for navigating the world. I enjoy the process of tailoring explanations to individual learning styles, fostering confidence, and empowering students to tackle future challenges independently. The ability to help someone gain confidence in these vital subject areas is very rewarding.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 25 years of coding and software design experience in Fortune 100 companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle and PayPal. I have been mentoring and coaching kids and now would like ton pursue as a full time job and spread my knowledge to build solid foundation for the kids to help them being successful.
