Music Faculty at Connecticut College since 1983
I teach Classical Guitar, Guitar Ensemble, Musical Acoustics, and run the Music Department's Recording Studio at Connecticut College.
I started teaching guitar in music stores while I was a student in college.
I have Guitar Perfprmance Degrees from Yale University and the Hartt School of Music, and I have taught for over 30 years at Connecticut College in New London CT.

I start by getting a feeling for where the student is at in his/her musical & guitar training, then pick lessons that will push them a little. Once I find out how quickly the student learns, I pace the lessons accordingly.
All ages and styles except Jazz. My degrees are in Classical Guitar performance but I've played & taught Electric Guitar, Rock, Folk, & Pop Music throughout as well.
