About Michele
I teach private lessons at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music. I am the former principal clarinetist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and love teaching adults who want to get back to the clarinet for fun.

It is wonderful to teach the amateur a piece. It feels like it is for the first time!

i studied with my father, Kalman Bloch who was also the principal clarinetist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
I also had a full scholarship at USC...
But playing 54 years with the Los Angeles Philharmonic was the best teacher of all.
