About Melody

Hello! I'm from China, I'm 29 and have been living abroad since I was 19. I've learnt English, Thai from school,German and Spanish on my own. Which gives me lots of foreign language learning experience, and help me understand ways and strategies of learning languages well, which helps me a lot in my Chinese teaching job. I started to teach Chinese as part-time job since I was a college student in Thailand, I organized different courses to teach Thai and Foreigners in our campus that are intereted in learning Chinese. My life abroad has brought me good crosscultural understanding, which makes it easier when I try to explain topics related to culture and society background, and my several foreign language learning experiences make it easier for me to understand what the students need.I love teaching and sharing my culture with people from all over the world!

When I was a college student in Thailand, Thailand and China started to have more coopperations, more and more Thai poeple found it important to learn Chinese, and many of my Thai friends know I can speak Thai and Chinese, so they ask me to teach them, since then I taught Thai people Chinese as a part-time job.

I used to take a course about "teaching your mothertongue to foreigners" with both theory and practice involved.

About the lesson

Greetings, get to know about each other, then ask about his expectations for learning Chinese, choose the percent of language usage according to the student's level during the conversation, and give some brief explanation if he ask, and then decide a study plan according to his circumstance.
