About Alyssa
I have 4 years of teaching and tutoring experience with students ranging from kindergarten to their late 50s. I have a BA in Korean and am TESOL certified and use classical teaching methods. This means I believe that true foundational mastery of a subject leads to success in education. My lessons focus on taking small steps every day or week to master material rather than covering broad swathes of content with shallow understanding. This leads to true confidence in the material learned and a greater desire to learn more because of that true understanding.
