About Nick
Coach Nick is dedicated to passing on the passion of learning chess to students. He takes pride in his ability to present chess in a fun and kid-friendly way while being a role model for students. Many of his students have gone on to be nationally, or even world-ranked chess players. It is his mission to inspire children to think ahead and make plans, understand the consequences of every action, and find a benefit to every game played - win or lose.
Working with kids has always been a fun experience for me. Teaching chess is a rewarding experience for me because kids have so much fun learning it. Chess is such an expansive subject that I end up learning something new everyday from my students through teaching.
