About Meghan

I am a current student studying chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UNCW. I specialize in tutoring general chemistry for high school and college students. I have tutored for high schoolers in the past and have helped students grasp the concepts of general chemistry on the college level as well.

I love to help students become passionate about chemistry and see the fun in it! I am a very visual person so I understand how hard it can be for students to visualize what is happening and I try my best to supplement it through diagrams and models. My favorite thing is seeing students get an "aha!" moment.

I am a student in the department of chemistry at UNCW and have been a tutor in the past.

About the lesson

I first like to ask the student what styles of learning have worked for them in the past. Next, I see where they are in the course and ask them what questions they have. From there I will either work out some problems with them or I will give a mini lesson on the topic if needed.

I have worked with high school students and college freshmen.
