About Gina
I graduated with a 3.82 in Honors Human Biology from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) this past spring, and am looking to tutor in the sciences during my gap year while I apply to Medical school. Any subject I tutor in, I have gotten an A in the accompanying university class.
As an undergraduate, I designed two biology courses (one freshman seminar, one human biology major course) and was the head Teaching Assistant in each, for over 100 students. I also have a background in mentoring.

I've worked in mentoring for many years, and I truly enjoy seeing people grow. Teaching isn't simply giving someone your knowledge, but nurturing them to utilize it. I've mentored freshman honors students for 3 years, helping them study, get assituated to college, and make friends. I've also taught children with disabilities such as autism and ADHD, and helped them set and reach specific goals.
