About David
As a High-school Chemistry Teacher with 21 years of experience in the classroom teaching regents , honors and general chemistry, I have extensive experience and expertise in chemistry instruction. My forte as a Teacher historically lies within my ability to simplify concepts within the content area that are typical areas of trouble for students and to focus more on fundamental comprehension as opposed to simple memorization.

During my tutoring sessions, I like to provide alot of structure to facilittate comprehension as opposed to simply answering questions for example, from a practice problem set. As a nexample, if the student is currently learning about gases in chemistry class and is having difficulty understanding how to use the gas-law formula, answering practice problems is fine but I like to provide back ground one how all of the variables are correlated and the basis of the formula itself.
