About Nick

I'm a former software engineer and current teacher. I believe that all students can achieve highly and that most issues in the classroom are communication defecits. Sadly these defecits often get blamed on students. I will strive to bridge these gaps and help students succeed.

I am currently a student at USF's school of education where I am prusuing a Master's degree. Pedagogy and student interactions are a major area of study for me.

More importantly I just like kids! I enjoy working with students and helping them learn.

About the lesson

The first thing I want is to understand where the student is and where they would like to be.

Next I want to understand how they enjoy learning and how they dislike learning.

With this information I will seek to communicate curriculum standards in ways that the student is more likely to respond to.
