About Mia
I am very passionate about chemistry and Spanish. I am a senior at Sandwich High School, I have completed both AP Spanish and Chemistry, and have received a 5 (out of 5) on the AP exam. I have studied Spanish for 6 years, and chemistry for 3 years. I am ranked as number 9 in my class, and am involved in National Honor Society. I have done private tutoring sessions in Spanish before for a student who was unable to take a Spanish class at our school, but wanted to learn it. I made up a curriculum for him, and we met once a week after school for about a year. I would love to help anyone who needs help in Spanish or chemistry!
I have always been passionate about school, but especially in the subjects of Spanish and chemistry. I love helping others and finding creative and fun ways for the people I tutor to learn the material, rather than simply reading from a textbook.

For a new student, I would like to see where they stand in the subject. In order to get an idea of what they know and don't know, I would give them an assessment and talk to them about their goals for the tutoring sessions. After this, I would create a curriculum that I think would work best for that student.
