About Damani

I am a current Biological Sciences student at the University of California, Irvine. Despite my passion being in the sciences I am actually applying to law schools and am pre-law. I have taken; Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Calculus, Biochemistry, Neurobiology, Immunology, Ecosystems, Ecology, Evolution, along with many Philosophy, Logic and Law classes.

I have received several prestigious scholarships for excelling in the life sciences field of study. And have been trained to tutor and have prior in-person experience at tutoring college students. Due to being a current student, my familiarity with topics is constantly refreshed.

I love meeting new students and people and have travelled and attended school throughout multiple countries and continents. My passion has always been in the sciences and working with others on the topics. It influenced my decision to get involved in tutoring before being approached by professors to help tutor and TA for their classes.

I am a trained and certified tutor. And have experience working as a tutor, student and TA for several classes.
I have my A.S. in Physical Sciences and Life Sciences. And am currently obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Philosophy. I am also familiar with the LSAT and preparation for the exam.

About the lesson

Start out by having the student explain what they see as their weakness. Have them demonstrate this by attempting to explain or practicing the question/topic in question. Work through the problem with them, guiding mainly but explaining where necessary. Students also will work best when they can explain the core concepts to me.

For any help with the Sciences (primarily Biology and Earth Sciences), Philosophy and LSAT prep: $25 per hour
