About Brandon
Hello, my name is Brandon Tidwell and I am a college graduate from Oklahoma State University. During my undergraduate career, I worked for two years as a peer tutor, guiding fellow students in science and math courses. I received a College Reading and Learning Association Certification (CRLA) with the peer tutoring program there. In addition, I also guided 4-6 graders in math and reading through On the Rock Ministries while I was in high school; so, I will happily work with any age group. With this experience, I promise an individually tailored plan to help you improve your understanding and mastery of any subject I cover. i No matter how small or large the challenge, we can make it through together. I feel it is up most important to understand what the goals, worries, and dreams for each individual for the class they are taking as well as in life. So, I begin my first session with an interactive communication exercise. At the end of these questions, we discuss an achievable plan to improve the understanding and comprehension of the subject in question. During the first learning lesson, I try multiple routes of explanation to see what works best for each person, as we all learn at different rates in different ways. This adaptive, one-on-one approach to the subject has, without fail, improved performance in a subject over time when I consider the past two years of tutoring.
