About Nitya
Hello! My name is Nitya Reddy! I am a pre-medical student who will be attending medical school this fall. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Biology. I then pursued a master's degree in Biomedical Sciences. I have ample exposure to basic and advanced science courses. I have been a teaching assistant for Biology, Chemistry, Immunology, and Psychology courses at the collegiate level. I strive to allow my students to actively learn, which allows for long-term retention. I also try to ensure I alter my teaching methods to better fit my students and their learning style. I have been a tutor for over 6 years and have taught students from the elementary school level all the way to the collegiate and master's levels. The most enjoyable part of teaching is seeing my students grow and strive to achieve their goals. I love seeing how my students adapt and work towards achieving the goals they have set. It's truly heartwarming and I love being that person they can rely on to achieve their long-term goals.

I usually try to ask the student what their goal is to achieve. From there, I try to learn about the student's learning styles and work to alter my teaching plan. I try to provide ample resources to the student in order to help the succeed. I also try to allow my students to actively think and work with the information to allow for long-term retention.
