About Gladys

The part that stands out is that I target my teaching to every student's learning ability and that I listen to each student when they speak and ask a question. I do my best to answer them, and I go over and beyond the call of duty to help a student academically learn their subject matter; nevertheless, I respect all student diversity and cultures. Also, I help them turn their weakness into strengths; nevertheless, I encourage intrinsic motivation. In other words, I reinforce to my students that they can feel rewarded when they fulfill their accomplishments in life with efficiency and proficiency,

What makes my service great is that I am a practical teacher, and I help bring out students' maximum potential for learning. For example, I encourage, motivate, and exercise positive thoughts and attributes to students by letting them know that whatever they believe they can do they can successfully achieve.

I have a Master degree in Secondary Education Technology with a CTE teaching Certificate in Career Technical Education. Also, I have 10 plus years of teaching experience at the collegiate level--incorporated with 7 years of high school teaching experience. Secondly, I have a Bachelor's in Business Education with 16 years of Administration and Secretarial experience in corporate.

About the lesson

My typical process for working with a new student is building a rapport; nevertheless, students often struggle with various topics. I try and develop confidence in them before any tutoring begins which is essential to their success.
