About Andrew
My name is Andrew, and I provide practical, results-focused tutoring and coaching for students and professionals who want to improve in finance, business, AI, test preparation, career development, and professional communication. I bring a strong academic and professional background, including a West Point education, a Columbia Business School MBA, the CFA charter, prior tutoring experience with Kaplan and The Princeton Review, and real-world experience across investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, capital markets, entrepreneurship, and public-company board service.
Working with me is structured, professional, and personalized. I start by understanding each student’s goals, current level, timeline, and biggest challenges. Then I build sessions around clear explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and direct feedback. My goal is not just to help students memorize information, but to help them understand the material, apply it confidently, and perform better in exams, interviews, business settings, or professional situations.
I do an excellent job because I combine subject-matter expertise with real coaching experience. I have taught standardized test preparation, mentored students and professionals, advised business owners, evaluated investments, raised capital, and worked with executives and investors. That allows me to connect academic concepts to real-world examples and explain complex topics in a way that is clear, practical, and useful.
