About Marida
Tutoring experience as a professional Tutor at North Shore Community College assisting students to achieve their highest potential. Anatomy and physiology, writing, research papers, study skills and organization supporting students needs.
I began tutoring while attending college as an income source. I enjoy teaching all ages whether it is after school enrichment courses, floral design workshops or academics. I am able to engage and support student success.
I have. BS in Biology, minor in Chemistry, AS Occupational Therapy Assistant and have tutored at the college level since 2005 in science, basic math, writing, study skills and organization.

Greetings and introductions. Questions of student's needs, assessment of student's level of anxiety with the process of being tutored and of specific difficulties presented in the subject area. Building a trusting relationship and providing students with confidence are essential for student success.
As an occupational therapy assistant I have worked with K- 12 special education students as well as college level learner's.
Look for a teacher who has patience, the ability to listen to your struggles and is compassionate.
As an artisan I recently was accepted into a gallery to feature my hard shell gourd creations, Gulf of Maine shell wreaths and sea star trees which helped.to validate my creativity.
