About Jonathon
I offer a unique perspective as someone who works in clinical genetics to break down the biology and connect the most fundamental aspects of the awesome science we cover and can show you why it actaully matters to us to know it. I love to study; I've done it all my life and want to make it fun and interesting.
Biology, science, medicine... It is all a miracle how we have so much insight into the world we can't see. Science is not about knowing a bunch of facts about the world, it's about finding innovative ways to use this tool to help others. Teaching is one of the best ways to learn, so not only do students benefit, but it does me a lot of good to try dividing information down and making it simple to understand.
Masters in Biology from UNC Charlotte: Published a thesis on in silico functional protein modeling and prediction.
Masters of PA studies from Presbyterian college with NCCPA certification and licensed to practice medicine.
Bacherlor's degree in biological science from NC State University. Summa cum laude.

Find a teacher who is willing to adapt to how you learn best, but also be willing to meet them half way. Understand that the learning and progress is going to primarily come form you.
