About Reem
I have taught in various educational settings for over a decade and believe that each student can reach his/her full potential. I put a great deal of patience, dedication, and creativity into teaching each student. Being a committed and engaged educator, I have had the privilege to teach diverse groups of students. My skills in differentiated instruction, assistive technology, and multi-sensory lesson planning allow me to meet the needs of every student. My credentials include a Master’s Degree in Human Relation, a Bachelor’s Degree in Micro Biology, teaching certification from Lebanon, and thirteen years of direct instructional experience in private American schools in Lebanon. Also, I have worked as a Pre-K headteacher in New York City for more than two years.
I enjoy the teaching experience and to witness the engagment of my students in learning new material. Also, making a positive impact on my students is the best joy to recieve.
After graduation, I was not happy with office work, and it was not fulfilling for me. My friend encouraged me to apply for a teaching position, and it was a life-changer. I worked hard on myself to learn the new educational theories and attend extra courses. Before leaving Lebanon, I was promoted to the head of the special education department.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Human Relations. When I started teaching in Lebanon, I took many educational courses and seminars. Also, I completed four graduate courses in education in NY.

I believe that students need to trust their teacher, and the best way to accomplish this is always a genuine approach through conversation. I like to share with my students some aspects of my life that they can relate to it. I show empathy to students who are struggling academically, socially, or/and emotionally and work with them to capitalize on their strengths.
I taught Elementary and Middle school students both in regular settings and special education.
