About Nisha
I have been tutoring students in Biology ever since I graduated high school (for about 8 years). Believe it or not, I do understand how overwhelming and foreign some biology concepts can feel. I was there! My goal is to help other students succeed in Biology just like I was able to succeed with a little help from my mentors.
A little bit about myself: I am a newly gradated dentist (May 2020) and am currently in a dental residency.
I first started teaching when I realized that I would not be where I am today had it not been for my tutors and mentors along this journey. I could not think of a better way to be of service to someone than to be a mentor / tutor for another student whose shoes I was in once upon a time.

When I first meet with a student, I prefer to learn a little bit about them and their academic journey. I also hope to learn their learning strategies and what works best for them so I can customize my teaching. I understand that every student learns differently -- some learn best visually and others by doing. I go into this with an open-mind and tailor my teaching style according to the student and what works best for them.
