About Dr Miriam
Former adjunct professor and current molecular biologist. I can help you with college level biology courses (i.e. General Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology).
I have been a Biology tutor since I was an undergraduate student. I enjoy helping college students succeed in their courses.
I have a PhD in Biomedical Science from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. My thesis work focused on genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, virology, and molecular biology. After graduating, I worked as an adjunct professor at Fordham University where I taught Genetics Lab. Currently, I am a Next Generation Sequencing Research Scientist.

I only approve students that are serious about doing well in their college courses. I expect my students to arrive on time and prepared for our tutoring sessions. Currently, I am available for 1-2 hour lessons on weekends.
I have been tutoring college level students since 2008.
When looking for a college level tutor, it is important to find someone who is an expert in their field. This means holding a graduate degree within the field they are teaching.

Before approaching a college level tutor, write down exactly what you are struggling with in your course. Do you need help with understanding the lectures? Are you having trouble with your homework?
