About Sarah
I get to know students and find ways to relate subjects to them and their interests to keep them engaged in learning. I am not a professional tutor, merely a high school senior with a passion for learning and teaching. I have tutor’d many elementary, middle school, and a few high school students in subjects such as maths(elementary-algebra 2), sciences(elementary- hs biology), English, reading and phonics. I pride myself in being very patient with students and keeping them focused and engaged in their school work.
I love teaching and helping kids look at school subjects in different ways that deepen their passion for learning.
I am a high school senior and have always excelled at school I hope a passion for learning and teaching

Typically when working with a new students I would talk with not only the student but in some cases the parents as well and learn the students skill level and their goals. We would then start with general questions the student or parent has and move to more topic specific questions.

Details
First sit down and/or video chat with the students and parent/s to learn their goals and needs is free. After that I generally charge between $25-$40 an hour depending on how many subjects we will be covering, and how many times a week we will meet.
