About Kaili
I have my B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Economics from Southern Methodist University. I specialize in biology and economics at higher levels - but I am also well versed in chemistry (general and organic), math through calculus I, statistics, physics, and accounting. I worked as a research assistant in an organic chemistry lab synthesizing antibiotics where I trained and tutored other students in college as well.

First, I like to have a conversation with the student so that I can better understand their current situation, their goals, and their preferring learning methods/styles (although it is okay if they are unsure or do not know this). Once I better understand the situation, I ask the student to provide certain information such as the current unit they're working on, past graded coursework, and current assignments. I do this so that I can prepare a plan before our tutoring session so that we can maximize the time available to us during a session. After our first session is over, I like to have a little breakout session to find out what they felt went well or could go better so that I can make adjustments for our next session.
