About Travis
My name is Travis Ortiz and I am passionate about science and assisting students with understanding how the world around them functions. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology which I received in May of 2018. During the course of my studies I assisted graduate students with research and headed my own project in which I studied microbial biofilms and their effect on metamorphosis and settlement of sessile marine organisms. Though biology is my specialty I have a thorough understanding of STEM concepts.
