About Sabrina

Hi there, I am happy you found your way here! I am eager to help you enjoy learning and can use my previous education to find creative ways to explain concepts until we find one that works best for you. As for qualifications, I am currently a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at McGill and am a teaching assistant for several graduate level courses. I also supervise undergraduate students in the lab teaching them lab safety and new experiments. I previously completed a bachelor's in Life Science with a specialization in Biomedical Science. With this background knowledge I would be happy to help you conquer your math and science (chemistry, biology, biotechnology, and more) courses. Please feel free to reach out.

I really enjoy helping each student find that 'lightbulb' moment where things can click into place and make sense. I love celebrating every small achievement and helping each student be proud of themself.

Currently a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering and a teaching assistant for graduate level courses.

I also supervise and teach undergraduate student in a biotechnology/biomedical lab.

Previously I completed a bachelor's in Life Science, Specialization in Biomedical Science.

I have helped kindergarden and children in grades 1-4 reading and math for 4 years.

I have also coached young swimmers for over 5 years in competitive swimming.

About the lesson

I like to start with the student's preferred method of learning, whether that is visually, hands on learning, or another way. This way I know how to best communicate the topics. We will also talk about what particular subject or topic that is causing the issue to see how we best overcome it. No need to worry, I will find a way to explain each topic in a way that makes sense to you. We can go through textbook questions, practice tests, or we can make our own workbook. I am open to finding the best solution for you.

Kindergarden: all subjects

Grade's 1-4: all subjects

High school: science and math

Undergraduates (generally in the last year): science such as biology, chemistry, biotech

Master's/graduate students: biology, chemistry, biotech
