About Brady

The human mind is amazing! Though it can be quite complex! I'm an independently licensed counselor in Ohio, and the part of my job that I love the most is helping people understand the mind. I've been in the field of psychology for the last 11 years, with practice for the last 7. I have a BA In Psychology from Ohio Dominican University, an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University, and currently am a lead clinician for Lifestance at the Hilliard office.

In all areas of therapy I have conducted, Psychoeducation - education on the brain, body, theories, and skills - is necessary for best treatment. This obviously helps for anyone seeking to learn about psychology.

About the lesson

I will start with a brief greeting and introduction, ask if you have any questions for me, and then we will jump into the topic. For that, I will start with getting a copy of rubric or syllabus if available to help direct our goals, and then will identify specific areas of need by importance. This is directed by those I work with more than me. Depending on our time we will do a brief review at the end of our session. I will try to focus content on that in the text or resources used for the class, but I can always supplement with additional materials and resources.

I am new to tutoring, however the dynamics are very comparable to teaching within therapy.

I have worked with students in undergraduate at local colleges around central Ohio.

Stick to the topics and try not to start applying the ideas to yourself beyond learning. The teacher/tutor relationship is not a therapy relationship. Knowledge will help with your own healing, and so can a person dedicated to helping you with that specifically.

I am fond of any time recently where my 2 year old gets uncontrollable bouts of laughter. It brings sunshine to any day.
