About Quicksand
What’s up—I’m Gabe Quicksand. I train hoopers and help people level up their mindset through the game.
I specialize in basketball IQ, footwork, handles, and shooting, but my sessions go way deeper than just drills. I mix in small-sided games, real game-like pressure, and methods like Differential Learning and the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA) to keep you thinking, reacting, and growing every rep. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about getting better in real situations.
I’m also the Athletic Director for Books & Buckets, a program that empowers underserved youth through academics, athletics, and advocacy. We use the game to build leaders.
Outside of that, I’ve built a strong social media presence breaking down advanced concepts and sharing drills with thousands of athletes who are locked in and trying to grow (Youtube, Instagram & TikTok).
With my Quicksand Mindset approach, we train your game, your mind, and how you handle pressure. If you’re ready to TAP IN, let’s get to work.
