About Stephen

Every athletes goal is to play at the high-school, collegiate and/or pro level. However, most fail to understand what the goal of every coach is and what they expect from players they recruit.

For all coaches, the end goal is to WIN games. In doing so, they aquire players that:

1. Have a good understanding (IQ) of the game.

2. Possesses great character and has a willingness to learn, improve & grow.

3. Has a compeititve, relentless & strong overall mentality.

4. Executes basic skill fundamentals but has ONE dominant skill set that will contribute to their teams success.

As a former, high-school, D1 & professional basketball player, I have been able to gain the experience and knowledge to help develop, guide & mentor players who aspire to play at the highest levels.

I have a strong passion for basketball, fitness and helping others who want to take their game to the next level improve. My passion surfaces around seeing the growth that results when dedication, effort, consistency & work ethic is in the picture.

Being part of this jouney with you and helping you acheive your goal is where my heart resides. My goal is to help you become a better athlete all around whether your at a beginner, intermediate or advance level!

I started teaching basketball in various camps/clinics held by Hofstra University (2010-14) but began basketball training as a career after I retired from playing professional basketball in 2018.

I worked as a basketball coach & athletic development trainer for the Long Island Lightening AAU program (L.I, NY) in 2019-20.

In duration, I was conducting individual & group basketball training sessions underneath my buisness Strive Performance.

I've worked with kids ages 8-18 all ranging from beginner, intermediate to advanced levels.
