About Harrison

Welcome, Coach Smith here.

I've been a high school basketball coach in the area for 5 years. I've coached high level athetes in the area helping them get to the next level.

Want to know the secret to getting to the next level? The best players work with purpose. Spend your time and effort getting better with focused intention on specfic skills. Hire me to improve you jumpshot, develop your skills or all-around basketball performance/IQ.

Out work your competition and get your coaches attention after working out with me.

I was a leader on and off the court with my teams. I loved learning new skills and moves. In high school I played center and later transitioned to a wing player in college.

I've played in 2 NMAA (New Mexico) 3A State Championship games.

I played basketball at Austin College and I've been a high school coach in the DFW area for 5 years.

About the lesson

With a new client I will evaluate the players skill level and assess the needs accordingly. We will fix any shot mechanic issues to ensure proper technique and perfect release point. The client will be put through basic drills to establish a baseline skill level and specific drills will be created to the clients needs.

I've worked with players ranging in ages from 5-22

Find someone passionate about the game. Someone that's available to meet your needs as a player and experienced in developing players. The game changes consistently and you need someone that keeps up with those changes.

I look forward to watching College and NBA basketball to see how the best in the game find new ways to score and help their teams be succsseful. If you watch Steph Curry warm up pre-game. The drills he does are basic but he does them at a very high level.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Is basketball something I really want to commit to? Do I really want to do what it takes to be the best? There's no substitute for hard work and dedication, will I sacrifice time to put in purposeful work?

Coach Smith was a great coach. I got a lot better at shooting after we worked on my shot. I look forward to scheduling more sessions. I would recommend hiring him.
