About Rob
I am able to tailor lessons to the ability and learning style of all players regardless of their age or skill level (youth, high school, & college). I am progressive and extremely forward thinking in my instructional methods basing my training techniques on sports science and exercise science opposed to conventional wisdom. I utilize high speed digital motion analysis to teach proper bodily sequence and mechanics as well as biomechanics to maximize a players overall physical and athletic ability.
When I was in high school working with my siblings and helping out with their teams. I started coaching and giving lessons in college and have continued to grow in terms of seeking out various ways to improve as an instructor.

In the first lesson I like to talk with the student and find out what areas they feel they do well in what areas the think they can improve in. I watch them throw/pitch, hit, field, catch, etc. and video tape them so they can visually see how their body moves and works in space. We identify what is good and what needs work. I compare their video to a professional player so they can see how their bodies work so the student can see the difference between what a professional player looks like opposed to an amateur player. I come up with an improvement plan consisting of various drills, instructional videos and works outs to help improve areas of weakness.
I have worked with students of all different backgrounds and skill levels. Tee ball through college.
Do your own research and don't be persuaded to hire an instructor with the most accomplished background as a player. Look for someone who has a proven track record of success of developing athletes and maximizing their potential.
I really enjoy having the opportunity to go see the games of players I work with.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students need to ask themselves what exactly they are looking to get out of taking lessons. How good they want to become all depends on how much time you they are willing to devote to practicing and doing the things they need to do in order to get better.
Reviews

Perfect! I’ve yet to start lessons but I have been very impressed with his communication.
Perfect! My son has started his second season with Rob and we couldn't be happier! My son is 10 yrs old and has made a 100% change for the better in just a year! Most boys his age have been playing baseball for a few years now but last year was his first year. He was super nervous, shy and definitely a little afraid of the ball. (Especially in the batters box) This year he goes for everything ball that comes his way! He is no longer afraid in the batter's box and would rather get a hit then try and wait for a walk!
Scheduling is easy and Rob definitely works with your schedule.
Highly recommended!See more reviews

My son and daughter have been consistently getting lessons from Rob the past two years and I highly recommended him to anyone looking for a hitting instructor (baseball and fast pitch softball) and pitching (baseball). I can’t say enough good things about Rob and am extremely happy with the work he has done with my kids.
Coach Rob has been working with my son who’s a Freshman in High School for the past four years. My son and I can’t say enough about how much Coach Rob has helped him improve as both a hitter and pitcher.
Coach Rob came highly recommended by a family that is on the same travel team as my son who gives lessons to their two children. Coach Rob is very easy to deal with and schedule lessons. My son has benefited greatly from working with Coach Rob. His hitting and throwing has improved greatly and is playing with way more confidence then before!
I can’t say enough good things about Coach Rob. He has really helped my son who’s a sophomore in HS with his pitching. In the short period of time my son has been working with Coach Rob he has gone from topping out at 70 MPH to 74 MPH. Coach Rob has also implemented a work out program for him to follow as well that has helped tremendously.
Coach Rob really helped me a lot with my hitting and pitching. I got better with each lesson and really improved overall. If you are struggling go see Coach Rob.
At first I was a little skeptical of taking my 6 year old son to get private lessons but it is was well worth it. Coach Rob is extremely patient and does an unbelievable job breaking things down for young children to understand. He makes each lesson fun and makes learning about the game of baseball enjoyable. My son loved seeing coach Rob and I am sure your child will too!
My son was really struggling pitching and hitting. I stumbled upon Coach Rob online and couldn't be happier with the job he has done helping my son improve. My son now has confidence which he didn't before and now plays with head up high instead of looking at the ground and looking scared when he gets on the field. I would highly recommend seeing Coach Rob to help out with any of your baseball needs.
I was amazed at not only what Coach Rob was able to do in just one lesson but how he was able to help my son who is a junior in HS improve drastically. It was literally a night and day difference. I have taken my son to get lessons prior to seeing Coach Rob and I was blown away at how Coach Rob was able to pinpoint what my son was doing wrong after seeing him take just a few swings off the tee. At the beginning of the first lesson my son had an exit velocity off the tee of 75 MPH and after Coach Rob fixed some things mechanically he was at 84 MPH at the end of the lesson!!! Go see Rob you won't be disappointed!
I couldn't be happier with the job Coach Rob did working with my son Aaron. Coach Rob takes his time and does an excellent job in explaining why your child is struggling and what needs to be done in order to correct it. Like other reviews have stated Rob uses video analysis to video your child and compare them to professional players so you and your child can see the difference in how they hit and pitch. If you are looking for baseball instruction I would look no further and get in with Coach Rob!
My son has gotten lessons from individuals who have played at the professional and minor league levels and none of them were able to do what Coach Rob did in such a short period of time.
1. Coach Rob uses video analysis where he films players he works with and compares them to professional players of today and yesterday showing similarities and differences in what they do hitting and or pitching wise explaining the positives and negatives of what they do.
2. Coach Rob will conduct a number of motor skill and physical screening tests and measure the overall physical and athletic ability of a player and design a program to help improve problem areas such as limited range of motion, poor joint stability, and weak core.
3. Coach Rob goes above and beyond for the players he works with. He makes it a point to come out and see their games. He sends a number of helpful websites, instructional videos, people to follow on social media, and a number of other resources to help them improve.
4. Coach Rob isn’t going to just throw batting practice or squat down and have a player pitch to him. Each lesson is different and specifically designed to maximize the ability of each player he works with.
5. His rates are very reasonable especially for everything that he does
I highly recommend Coach Rob for all of your instructional and coaching needsMy son was in a slump and couldn't find his way. I decided to search the internet for a quick assist and found Rob Kucharski. Rob uses digital motion analysis and player interactive instruction. After several sessions with Rob my son went from mile-high deep outfield outs to frozen rope dingers. In two games my son went 3 of 4, with three doubles, a walk, and six RBI's. Thanks Rob. We appreciate you.
Rob has been coaching and giving my son baseball instruction for over 10 years. Rob is extremely passionate and knowledgeable; always looking for new instruction techniques and ways to self-improve. During Rob's off-time he has attended several of my son's games. If you are looking for a great baseball instructor that really cares about your son or daughter's well-being and improvement - I would highly recommend Rob.
Coach Rob has been working with my younger sons for the past few years. I was initially worried about taking a 5 and 7 year old to get coaching lessons, but Coach Rob did an amazing job at breaking the game down to the finer points, while making it fun and interesting for such young players. You can tell Coach Rob loves the game, passing on his knowledge and watching his players grow. After a few dozen lessons the past few years, I am happy to say both my sons have grown exponentially under his direction and look forward to lessons. Coach Rob has even gone so far as to send links for specific drills, evaluate and comment on video clips of my sons game performance and even showed up at a game when my son was stuck in a batting rut to help out. Coach Rob has used a variety of techniques and drills to improve player performance, lessons are never monotonous or predictable and drills are fun and challenging. I love how Coach can break down every detail of the hitting process and how it all relates to better player performance. I was even more impressed he could do so with such young children. As a teacher myself, I know how difficult this can be to achieve, and it says a lot about his coaching knowledge and ability to connect with players. Without reservation, I recommend Coach Rob for all your player development needs!
My son has been receiving hitting and pitching lessons with Rob since he was 5. It is 9 years later and we are still seeing Rob for these lessons. Rob is extremely patient and knowledgeable. Rob looks at new trends and determines the pros and cons. Rob will consult with experts to determine if those new tends are helpful or not. Rob will stay beyond the lesson and not ask for further compensation. Rob has come to plenty of my son's baseball games on his own time. He then offers advice on what my son did well and what he needs to improve on. When my son was struggling a bit with the bat, Rob came to his game early, did some tee work with him and corrected the problem. I offered Rob some money for his time, but he refused. I don't have anything negative to say about Rob and I highly endorse him.
