About Marina

With an infectious passion for learning and an unwavering belief in the potential of every student, I am sure of my ability to inspire the next generation of learners. My educational journey is a testament to a life devoted to fostering a love for learning--especially in science. After 5 years of experience and over 40 students, I am confident in my ability to positively and effectively tutor all diverse learners. This gives me the utmost confidence in myself to impact students in their learning and inspire them to embrace the endless possibilities of the educational world.

About the lesson

I have spent my career unlocking the wonders of learning for myself, and now I help do so for other eager learners. I discovered my love for learning these subjects early on, setting the stage for a journey dedicated to sharing that same enthusiasm with students! - Personalized lessons based on specific student needs - Works with students to methodically approach coursework - Focuses on comprehension and confidence building to help students develop habits that will ensure they succeed after our time together is complete. What sets me apart from other tutors is my ability to connect with learners who have even the most diverse learning needs. My patience has proven to encourage students to make mistakes, and my skill set will teach them to grow from said mistakes. Classes are for grades 1-12 as well as first-year university or college-level classes.

Furthermore, she always takes the extra step to ensure that the student fully understands. Whether that be to learn a new method to support to student or going back in her notes from 3 years ago; she always gives her all! She is trustworthy by being extremely organized, through her schedule, notes, and teaching plans for the night. Drawing up what to cover with the student a few days prior to their meeting. She ensures that they can pass through every key point the student requires knowledge on; in order to grow a deeper understanding, in a timely manner.
