My tutoring style is student-centred, focusing on making complex concepts clear and engaging. I tailor each session to meet individual needs, ensuring that every student receives personalised support. I prioritise building a strong, positive relationship with my students, creating a comfortable learning environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions and actively participate. I focus on the specification set by the exam boards, using active recall methods and past paper questions to strengthen exam technique. I begin each session with a starter activity that revisits content from the previous lesson, reinforcing learning and ensuring continuity. I also send all lesson material to the student and set homework to further reinforce key concepts. I provide consistent feedback and set clear goals, helping students track their progress and stay motivated. Additionally, I offer flexible scheduling and am available for support outside of sessions, ensuring students get the help they need when they need it.
