About Komal
The best part about being a tutor is witnessing how the student engages in the material. There are so many ways to learn, and I work hard to develop a plan that is best suited for the student.
I graduated from Boston University with a degree in human physiology and minored in statistics. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, and even served as a subsitute teacher at an English learning school. Although I studied math and science in school, I also have experience tutoring reading and writing at the elementary level.

I ask the student and/or parent with what they are struggling with and start by asking the student to complete a small assignment while they explain their work process to me. It is important for me to use this practice example to understand how the student can improve. From there, I develop lesson plans based on my observations. I am always adjusting these plans to best target the students' needs.
