About Sage
Homework-time can be challenging and stressful for the whole family. Parents: whether you're working around a busy schedule and don't have enough extra time to help your student, or you simply just can't remember learning long division in elementary school, I'm here to help get rid of stress and bring success to getting homework done!
I have always enjoyed helping others, including my younger brother, with homework and studying. I know how stressful homework can be- both for students who are struggling and excelling- but it shouldn't be. Let's take the pain out of homework time.
As an older sister who had parents with full time jobs, I was a seasoned tutor of an easily frustrated and easily distracted younger brother. I tutored and mentored peers throughout my high school years, including teaching math to a solely Spanish-speaking student. Now that I have finished my Bachelors and Masters degrees and settled into my professional career, I am looking to tutor students part time.

First, I like to get to know the student. What are they interested in? Do they participate in extra-curriculars? Then, the student and I will discuss what goals they would like to accomplish from tutoring, such as improving one letter grade or focusing on a specific aspect of the subject they may struggle with.
