- I am a current student at Boston College in the Carroll School of Management
- I excelled in math and business related subjects in high school (A's in micro/macro economics and Calc AB)
- I received a 34 on the ACT
- I am also an AP Scholar with Distinction
- Since I am a current student, I can help students by taking a more modern and effective approach to studying and learning the material
I got started in High School through my National Honors Society program.
At my high school I participated in the National Honors Society. During my senior year, I would tutor other students struggling with their work. I would tutor for about 2-4 hours a week throughout the year.

I first will diagnose the students needs and learning style. After this I will take an adaptive approach that enables the student to learn how they want to learn. This will create a relaxed environment and allow the student to enjoy a part of his/her learning. I will then work with the student on specific topics they are struggling with by utilizing practice problems, flashcards, and other memorization tricks that helped me as a high school student. I will go over problems with them during the tutoring session and give them additional problems to work on before the next tutoring session.
I have worked with 9-12th graders.
Choose someone that not only knows the material, but is passionate about helping each individual person. Nobody learns the same way, and a tutor should be able to adapt to each student's needs.
