About Phyllis
I am passionate about teaching. I have a wide variety of teaching experience in my background and currently teach school-age children's topics in art, history, and science.
I have had a passion for painting and art, in general, my entire life, and started creating my own art as a child. This blossomed into a hobby that decorated my entire home and provided hand made works of art for birthdays and holidays.
Friends started asking me to teach them, and here we are today.

I have over 30 years of patining, art, and working with acrylic and other mediums on canvas, wood, and other types of bases. I also have extensive experience as an educator teaching adults in the healthcare industry as a director of nursing, teaching children English as an ESL teacher and Teaching global school-aged students on zoom art, history, and science classes.

Classes are comfortable and take place over Zoom. We start with introductions and then begin our lesson. Each step in the painting process is explained and demonstrated for students. Additional assistance, guidance, and suggestions are also offered throughout the class time.
By the end of our class time, you will have a uniquely yours work of spectacular art.

Each Lesson is priced bases on time and level of difficulty. Lessons start at $14 and can be as much as $22/hr, per student.
