About Michael
My main goal as your guitar teacher will be helping you find out what makes you happy about the guitar. It is not my job to push you towards my musical interests, but to help you find yours and acheive the goals you would like to.
I have been playing music for my whole life and guitar since the age of seven. I have had many teachers throughout the years and have gone through period of teaching myself. I have found my musical home in songwriting and performing live.

My typical process for working with a new student is helping them set a goal for where they would like their playing to be. Then we take that goal, analyze what goes into acheiving it, and break it down into steps that will lead them down that path.
