About Eyiara
Hi, my name’s Eyiara, which rhymes with tiara haha! I have a BA in French and an MA in Audiovisual & Literary Translation – which included translating scripts, subtitling TV shows, and dubbing. So, I like to include the arts and media in language work. While studying in Paris, I taught English as a foreign language to kids aged 9 to 13 years old. My goal is to help you develop your confidence in French.

First, we’ll discuss where you’re at and what your goals are. Then together we’ll come up with a plan of action for how the lessons will be structured to suit your learning style. Lessons are for 30 minutes for beginners and young children. For those more advanced, lessons are one hour, split into sections for reading practice, speaking practice, and writing practice, but depending on your goals these can be adjusted. I go at your pace to ensure that you grasp the concepts, and homework is given based on what is covered during the lesson. Beginners up to GCSE or intermediate level are welcome, and the lessons are tailored to your learning style and what you want to achieve.

Excellent teacher, Professional in her approach, warm and friendly. Students would always have fun with each lesson. Makes learning simple.
Also a very good translator for media - audio and video (either from English to French or French to English). I will recommend her any day and any time.
