About John

With over 1500 hours and 6 years of tutoring experience I am a passionate provider of motivating lessons to stretch the imagination and confidence of children and young people at all levels of ability. I believe the role of a tutor to be a teacher, trainer, and a mentor capable of inspiring individuals to want to learn and to remove obstacles that may prevent them achieving their full potential. I aim to encourage creativity, instilling a solid work ethic and energising my students to believe they can achieve. Using a variety of fun based lessons, I aim to build confidence and ensure that pupils benefit from their experience of working with me. I teach Maths English and Science for KS1 KS2 and KS3 plus 11+ and entrance exam preparations. At GCSE level I offer help in Maths, English Language and Literature, Science, History, and Geography. Having run my own successful marketing company I can also offer my experience in all aspects of business studies and career advice. Perfect! Brilliant Tutor
John tutored my son through his English GCSEs. My son was struggling with English and John helped him so much. Not only did he help him with English he also helped him revise for other subjects as the exams were coming up. My son has today passed his English gcse and I believe without Johns help this would not of been possible. Thank you John, thank you for being patient with him and thank you for caring and helping him achieve his grade.
