About Alexa
I hold a Level 5 TEFL certification and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Since 2019, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching English to learners of all ages, with most of my experience focused on young learners. I really enjoy helping children grow their confidence, curiosity, and communication skills in English. My lessons take place in a warm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and are excited to learn.

Hello! I'm excited to help your child discover the joys of learning English. I strive to make lessons fun and engaging while also adopting a goal-oriented approach tailored to each student's unique needs. Whether your child is just beginning their English journey or already has some experience and wants to build fluency and confidence, I’m here to support them every step of the way.
I use a student-centered approach that emphasizes speaking, listening, and real-world language use. I incorporate games, stories, role-play, and visuals to make learning enjoyable and memorable—especially for younger learners.
Each lesson typically starts with a quick warm-up to refresh what we’ve previously learned. From there, we explore a new topic or skill—like vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation—through interactive and age-appropriate activities. We then put the new language into practice with conversations, games, or storytelling, helping the student use it in a meaningful context. At the end, we do a short review and preview what’s coming next to keep the learning momentum going.
These lessons are best suited for primary school-aged children or early secondary students who are learning English as a second language. I also welcome older students who want to improve their conversational skills in a relaxed, supportive setting.
