About Belen

I’m Belen, a bilingual English-Spanish tutor with experience supporting students in one-on-one and small-group settings. My background as a Teaching Assistant has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, create structured lessons, and help learners feel confident. I’m patient, organized, and committed to helping students make real progress through practical, encouraging instruction.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is warm, structured, and highly practical. I focus on helping students communicate clearly and confidently in real situations, whether they are learning English, Spanish, reading skills, literacy, classic literature, or resume preparation. Instead of memorizing rules, students learn through guided conversation, simple explanations, and meaningful practice that connects directly to their goals.

Because of my experience as a Teaching Assistant, I’m skilled at breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. I adapt every lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and pace, making sure they always feel supported and never overwhelmed. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making progress they can actually feel.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
Warm‑up: A short speaking or reading activity to build confidence

Core lesson: Clear explanations, structured practice, and real‑life examples

Guided practice: Roleplays, reading exercises, writing tasks, or resume‑focused activities depending on the subject

Feedback: Supportive corrections and personalized tips to help you improve naturally

Mini‑review: A quick recap so you leave the lesson knowing exactly what you learned

Each session is organized, encouraging, and designed to help you grow steadily.

What Students Should Know
My lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate learners, teens and adults, and anyone who wants a patient, supportive tutor who teaches with clarity and structure. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, strengthen your reading and literacy, explore classic literature, or prepare a strong resume, I tailor every class to your needs.

I’m committed to helping you make real, meaningful progress while enjoying the learning process.
