I am taking a year off from teaching in a traditional classroom however my passion for sharing knowledge and growing teenagers through learning hasn't gone on holiday!
Tutoring interests me as working with students one-on-one often yields the best results for both the teacher and student.

About the lesson

I focus on learning through examples that can best prepare students for assessments and future further learning. This would include setting a small task for students to complete between sessions.
Expected lesson length: 60 minutes
I have been a senior science teacher with a focus in biology, earth and space science and chemistry for 5 years. My main area of expertise is in biology as I have a BSc in biology from UoA.
My focus target audience for tutoring is students taking NCEA levels 1, 2 and 3 (depending on the subject).
