About Katie
Hi! My name is Katie, and I have been teaching for six years, including the last four years in first grade. I am passionate about helping young learners build confidence, develop strong reading skills, and discover a love for learning.
I believe every child learns differently, so I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating their growth. My goal is to make learning engaging, meaningful, and fun while helping students reach their full potential.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy staying active and spending time with family and friends. I love getting to know my students and helping them shine both inside and outside the classroom.
