About Vitória

I was born in Lisbon and I graduated in social policy.

In Portugal, I worked for several years in the artistic and socio-cultural fields, notably as a communication manager.

I also lived in London for three years, where I did my Masters in Theater studies at Goldsmiths University. In Toulouse, since 2012, I completed in 2018 the master2 in Social and Solidarity Economy at the Jean Jaurès University.

I speak fluent English and I understand and also speak Spanish and a little Italian.

Formater/ Facilitater in the following fields: English, physical theater and dramatic expression, practical ecology and, in the last three years, Portuguese courses…

About the lesson

My name is Vitória, of Portuguese origin and I am living in France in the last eight years.

Experienced formater, I offer private lessons of European Portuguese for foreigners (French and English speakers), all levels.

The methods used to develop oral communication, writing and reading expressions are adapted since the first day to the level, needs and cultural preferences of each student.

Focused on orality, it is a methodology easily adaptable to everyone, either for professional or personal aims:
- Beginners learn the fundamentals of conversation and grammatical basics so that students can communicate on a daily basis and express their basic needs and desires;
- Intermediaries or advanced, perfect their skills and progress the conversation in various fields of their choice.

Methods and tools: fun lessons, viewing videos, audio recordings, webcam, enphasis on cultural themes also proposed by the students.

Due to confinement, lessons are currently only available via skype.

I am also available for web conversations, translations and interpreting (especially French/ English for Portuguese).

And there you go, progress in Portuguese whatever is your level :)
