I am an experienced, confident and kind teacher who values the individual needs of each and every student; I have been praised for this by the previous Principles and Head Teachers I have worked with as well as Ofsted, the UK government's school inspection service. I am an ambitious and creative teacher who likes to tutor through discussion, exploration and writing/reading practice. I am willing to provide lessons from 45 minutes and up to 2 hours depending on the needs of the student.
I have 5 years of experience teaching classes of up to 30 students, and also have experience leading small tutor groups who either need extra support or who require more stretch and challenge on top of the curriculum. I also have experience teaching students with special educational needs and students who speak English as an additional language.
I have also tutored Year 12 students in dissertation style essay writing qualifications in preparation for University.
My lessons will be suitable for any student in Years 7-12. I am also able to make lessons appropriate for students preparing to enter their first year of High School or their first year of University.
