About Salud
I am a private science/chemistry tutor, a fully qualified science teacher and an AQA examiner. I have 4 years’ experience in teaching in secondary schools in which I have consistently been judged as outstanding for teaching and learning.
I prepare unique lessons that will keep students interested, help them to understand difficult concepts in science and at the same time help them to learn effectively.
My two years’ experience as an examiner has helped me to have a very clear idea of how students need to learn science to improve their grades particularly with the new specifications, applying this to my tutoring lessons helps students to build their confidence and mastering each step before moving on to the next.
I believe that students learn better actively with activities such as answering questions, researching information, self-assessing and mind-mapping.
To my delight all my tutored students see a progression in their academic results, for example one of my recent students is currently top of the class after moving up two sets.
