About Daniel
I have been teaching mathematics for 5 years, both domestically and internationally. I have a PhD in mathematical modelling and have acted as a private tutor in the past. In addition I have given talks at schools about mathematics and acted as an online mentor.

I like to scaffold problems and approach them step by step. I teach my students strategies to engage with problems, starting from where they are comfortable at and then gradually building up their skills and knowledge base. The most important thing however is confidence and I try to remove barriers such as “ I can’t do this” and give my students confidence.
