About Ilaria

I graduated in Modern Philology (Italian Studies) with 1st class honours at the University of Florence (Italy), which is my hometown and, as many scholars say, the cradle of the Italian language.

I have a good amount of experience as a Foreign Language Assistant and as a tutor of Italian both online and in person.
So far, I've had the opportunity to teach people of all ages (from kids to retired) and all levels of Italian, from beginners to advanced.

I've always been passionate about languages and teaching. I love my native language and I'm excited to be sharing it with you!

Apart from giving private tutoring lessons in an informal environment for several years, I did my internship at the Syracuse University in Florence and I have been teaching at the Holy Cross College in Worcester (MA, USA).
I'm currently working as an online teacher for an International School of Italian.

About the lesson

- I like making learning not only efficient and to the point, but also interesting, interactive and fun.
Are you preparing for an exam? Are you interested in travelling to Italy and interacting with native speakers?
Each student is different, therefore I always shape my lessons to fit your level, needs and interests.

I'm offering:
- online private tutoring lessons (25 euros/h)
- small group learning lessons (max 4 students) (15 euros/h per person)
- My classes can last between 1 and 2 hours. We will have a 30 min free trial lesson to get to know each other and to allow me to assess if I am the best tutor for you.
- As a platform, we'll be using either Zoom or Google Meet.

ALL LEVELS AND AGES!

- In my classes, we will be covering all the parts of the wonderful Italian language: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, interaction and of course culture. We'll make reading, writing, listening and speaking activities and, of course, according to your needs we will be focusing on certain aspects more than others.
