About Vikram

My ideology of teaching is to ensure the vision of our "Plan" moves forward. That starts by building on the goals of the course and working both internally to manage expectations and externally to develop the skills of students

Students are my focus and I will hear your customized feedback as it gives me a sense of direction and helps me to know what my student is thinking or yearns for.

My mantra is also to be prepared. I create a blueprint for a program, or a vision and explain concepts in a simple relatable way. Some of my best ideas have been the ones where there has been collaboration and the curriculum plan for example would be tailored to be relevant.

Lastly, my main goal has been to “leave no person behind”. I strongly believe that each student has a unique ability. I know that when pushed in the right directions these students excel beyond their own capabilities.

About the lesson

Teaching gives me gratification. I have trained investment bankers and trained university students/finance professionals in various subjects such as Derivatives, Equity Analysis, Fixed Income, Financial Modeling, Investment Banking, Private Equity and other university-based subjects.

Right from understanding expectations of students, my focus with individuals has been to make them fundamentally understand the content and then address exam-type questions.

I deep-dive into core areas of the subject. As an example, in corporate finance most students tend to struggle in valuations, capital structure and its models, optionality, fixed income/bond analysis. I'll focus on all that and more.
